I read about a distressing situation on the permies forum that I visit regularly (permies.com). I think it’s important to pass on anecdotes like this so we all can identify what’s going on in our animals. In this case, the issue was a pig with a bacterial infection.

I’m pleased to say that I got a report that Miss Avocado is doing much better. She’s running around and accepting treats.
I’ll update this page if I see a follow up post about Miss Avocado.
I can’t say how much I’m grateful for people who post about issues like this. It can save heartache for others.
